Crazy Tropez is made by Grégoire Chaix, winemaker and owner of “Bar du Port” in Saint-Tropez. The wine is made up of 40% Cinsault, 50% Grenache and 10% Syrah which gives the rose wine a lovely balance, both with acidity, structure and mouthfeel too.
The art of rose making really is shown in this example with a deliciously rich and complex wine. The refreshing and youthful expression is perfect for those summer days when you head for the rose section.
TNWG Food Suggestion: This is another acidic rose which shines brightly and works wonderfully well with grilled seafood, however it can also work really well with chicken and halloumi too. Try a halloumi burger as your combo!
