Mills & Hills 2021 Pinot Noir comes from the very talented Kieron Atkinson, head winemaker at the English Wine Project.
 
2021 was a fabulous year for this vintage and utilising only the finest grape juice from vineyards across the UK, Kieron has produced a wonderful expression that exudes freshness together with elegance too.
 
The concentration of Morello cherry is very evident as well as crushed cranberries and a hint of crunch with the pomegranate type notes that make this a special vintage. Sold out in most places, there are a few bottles left only of this - so do grab it whilst it is still in stock, these is a subtleness of slight oak ageing of 9 months too which make this a fabulous food wine.
 
TNWG Food Suggestion: This actually appears quite often at my Christmas table, the Pinot Noir really works well with those that are having turkey, chicken, pork as their main feature. Pork chops are a particular favourite, as is pulled pork with this too.
