TNWG COCKTAILS

TNWG Version of 'A Shakey Pete'

The Northern Wine Guy first came across a version of this in London.  Simply the best - refreshing and turbo'ed.

INGREDIENTS: (Makes 1 pint)

50-60ml Gin (your choice but best non-flavoured)

60ml lemon juice (freshly squeezed lemons)

120-140ml Your choice of bitter ale

ice cubes

60ml Ginger Syrup

METHOD:

1. Place 5-6 ice cubes in a hand blender with the ginger syrup, gin and lemon juice. Blend until the ice has gone and a nice foam has arrived at the top.

2. Pour into the pint glasses and for me, I then top the glasses with the ale of choice to the top of the glass before a quick stir.....

Now try that!
